Communicating with the host was easy and made our stay comfortable. The living room, dining room and bedrooms are very spacious and well furnished. The beds are comfortable especially if you prefer a firm mattress. The kitchen is small for such a large apartment, and there is no dishwasher, microwave, or oven (only a toaster) -- not very conducive to preparing all small meals. The location of the apartment is convenient to the Vatican but relatively far from the city center, 40-60 minutes by public transportation. Stations are a good distance away with hills and steep steps, which would make it difficult for people with mobility problems or those who are tired after visiting the city all day. Street parking is preferable to garage parking, and spaces are usually available.
